Once your DVDs are Duplicated or replicated (Manufactured) they are then printed using a five colour silk screen or offset lithographic process, resulting in a very high quality finish.

Storm media can also Print blank media (CDs, DVDs, CD business cards & DVD Business Cards, Mini CDs & Mini DVDs and Blu-Ray discs) giving you the opportunity to copy the information onto the disc at a later stage, when needed - This option provides an ideal solution for companies that continuously change their data.

Storm media has two different printing options, both processes of printing are identical to the DVDs sold in major retail stores and allows for virtually any quantities over 100 units.

Screen Printed DVDs

Screen printing is the traditional method for disc surface printing and has been used to print on DVDs for many years now. Due to the simplicity of this process a wide variety of different inks and dyes are available, allowing for effects that aren’t possible with other printing methods. Screen printing is renowned for giving rich, vibrant colour results.

Offset Printed DVDs

Offset disc printing is now the preferred technique by the majority of CD and DVD manufacturers, mainly because it is cost effective and achieves exceptional results. This method of printing uses the CMYK process, giving your design quality close to that of a photograph.

Offset printing is of a much higher resolution than screen print, allowing your design to contain much more detailed images.

We will select the best printing option according to the quantities required and artwork supplied.

Artwork Specifications:

: 1. In order to avoid any delays, it is important that all artwork conform to our specifications. Please email us the artwork, Artwork can be emailed to us at artwork@stormmedia.co.za We will then insert your artwork into the specific DVD template and get your approval before proceeding.; 2. The artwork should be supplied to us as a Jpeg or PDF file at 300 Dpi or more.; 3. The artwork needs to be designed using CMYK colours.
